Terms of Service
Who we are
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Shanu Tyagi ("numero", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
Use of the service
You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law sets a higher minimum) to use the service. One account per person. Don't impersonate others. Don't share your account credentials.
If you use the service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Behaviour
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, or doxxing.
- No cheating: botting, multi-accounting to farm rewards, exploiting bugs without reporting them, or using modified clients.
- No attempts to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it (except where local law expressly allows), or scrape it at scale.
- Reports filed by other users trigger moderator review. We may take action including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.
Virtual items and the in-game economy
Points and any other in-game items are virtual game items. They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or other things of value, cannot be transferred between users, and have no value outside of the service.
Daily spinner pulls and ad-unlocked spins are free. Entering a match has an entry cost in points (an "ante") that is escrowed by the server and awarded to the winner. This is a skill-based outcome based on guess accuracy and timing, not a game of chance.
We may adjust drop rates, ante values, and the economy generally to keep play balanced. We do not offer cash-out, peer-to-peer transfer, or refund of points spent on entering matches.
If you are located in a jurisdiction where skill-based games with virtual stakes are restricted, you must not use the entry-cost features. It is your responsibility to comply with local law.
User-generated content
By choosing a username, sending in-match reactions, or otherwise providing content to the service ("User Content"), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the service. You retain any underlying rights you have.
You are responsible for User Content you submit and represent that it does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.
Copyright (DMCA)
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on numero infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to numero.app@icloud.com with the following:
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed,
- identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it sits in the service (e.g. the username, in-match reaction, or asset URL),
- your name, postal address, telephone number, and email,
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law,
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner, and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to the infringing material in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Repeat infringers' accounts will be terminated.
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with the corresponding DMCA counter-notice elements.
Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile → Delete account, or via our account deletion page.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. Where reasonable we will notify you of the reason. You may appeal by emailing numero.app@icloud.com.
Modifications
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may update these Terms; if we make material changes we will notify you in-app and update the "Effective" date above. Continued use after the new effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee uptime, that any specific match will complete, or that the service will be error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 10. The service is currently free, so amount (a) will typically be zero.
In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the service, except to the extent caused by our wrongful act.
Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, natural disasters, or government action.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of India, unless local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
